It is NOT Business as Usual

Internally the messages (NOISE) are: Get BACK at it, it's been a month, get back to business. Yet intuitively the messages (VOICE) are: Take the time you deserve to get back into a healthy state. People are doing just fine without you. Don't rush this process or you will not get well.
*Noise vs. Voice is a concept I heard explained by beautiful Peta Kelly. She talked about the noise being so loud that we can't hear the voice that knows what is best for us. I have a lot of noise going on and I am doing my very best to silence the noise in order to hear the voice that knows. See Peta's website if this sounds like something you'd like to learn more about.
As I stated in an earlier post, this is a lonely place to be. I feel that the only people who really understand what I am experiencing, are those who have experienced it themselves. It is possible that a few people who haven't experienced it may understand, but I am not sure they would 100%.
Judgement in all areas of life happens and this is only my opinion, but I feel that lack of understanding or judgement comes from ignorance. Why would a person try to fully understand this if they were not suffering? I know if I am honest with you, I wouldn't be a person who would do a lot of research about something unless it was going to directly affect me or someone I love. Therefore if someone I knew was going through adrenal fatigue, exhaustion or failure, I would try to be empathetic but without really knowing, I would likely assume many things (just simply out of ignorance). Not to seem shallow or heartless, I might even go as far to assume that if the person was suffering as they "say they are", that it would be best for me to leave them alone to figure it all out for themselves.
Many with this limited understanding may even think that a person who is suffering will get through it quickly and will be back to business as usual. I can speak from experience and be a spokesperson or advocate for those who are suffering and say without a doubt that we desperately want to go back to "business as usual" but it is not possible if we want to get better - it is just not possible right now. Patience is appreciated. I am learning a valuable lesson about patience - ironically it took a crisis state to "wake me up" being patient or to slowing down.

One of a few books I have found, which I am finding helpful as well is seen in my photo below.
